Sound Configuration

Sound is controlled by the Crystal CS4237B, Enhanced Audio Sound Controller chip.  New software should be installed with either a "SoundBlaster"tm or "SoundBlaster Pro"tm configuration selection.
Run CMOS Setup to configure the sound hardware settings.
There are three ports on the rear of the system board:
 -	Line In
 -	Microphone
 -	Line Out

If a voice-capable modem is installed in the system, the microphone port is plugged at the factory.  Use the microphone port on the modem in these configurations.
Since there is no amplified "speaker out" connection, you must use powered speakers with this system.
