TITLE:  PowerExec & Stacker & Norton Desktop
 
 
ISSUE 
 
   Customers have experienced difficulties using Stacker 2.0 with 
   Norton Desktop version 2.0. The problems observed are as follows:
   
   1. Unable to access Setup after Stacker is installed.
   
   2. Unable to access Setup after DISABLING the Norton 
      Anti-Virus option inside of a desktop. 
   
   There may be other sporadic problems under DOS as well as 
   Windows.
   
   This issue affects PowerExec systems using the software 
   configuration mentioned above.    

 
BACKGROUND 
 
   The failures observed stem from Stacker 2.0.

   Obtain Stacker version 4.0 or later from the Stac Electronics Web 
   site at the following address:
