            POWEREXEC, EXTERNAL MONOCHROME CRT MONITORS AND OS/2


PROBLEM:       OS/2 version 2.1 will not operate with a monochrome external
               VGA Monitor in simultaneous mode.

CAUSE:         OS/2 does not support the PowerExec video simultaneous video
               feature.

AFFECTED
SYSTEMS:       PowerExec.

SOLUTION:      When using OS/2 version 2.1 with an external monochrome VGA
               attached, disable the simultaneous video feature in Setup
