           POWEREXEC CURSOR FREEZES WITH THUMBELINA PS/2 TRACKBALL


PROBLEM:        After using the THUMBELINA PS/2 trackball from APT INC.
               (APPOINT ) with the PowerExec for approximately five minutes,
               the cursor freezes.

CAUSE:         THUMBELINA PS/2 trackball firmware is incompatible with the
               PowerExec mouse port.

SYSTEMS
AFFECTED:       All PowerExecs.

SOLUTION:       Call APT INC. (APPOINT ) technical support at 800-448-1184 and
                request an updated trackball with the correct firmware
                (date code of 9425 or later).
