             WARP CONNECT INSTALL PROBLEM ON BRAVO MS PENTIUMS


PROBLEM:

The Bravo MS Pentium systems may hang on Disk #1 of OS/2 Warp V3.0 during 
installation.


CAUSE:

OS/2 Warp Connect uses Read-ahead mode on systems that integrate the 
CMD640x PCI IDE chipset on the system board. 


SOLUTION:

Disable Read-ahead mode. File PJ19409.ZIP can be found on IBM's BBS 
(919) 517-0001 in the "Corrective Service Software" file area.
